


Level II: Intermediate Rock Climbing Program
Step into leading in the vertical world on rock in Level II: Intermediate Rock Climbing.
This program will start in July 2026 with four cohorts running concurrently. Weekly classroom sessions will bring all of the participants together and tighten our community.
Each cohort will comprise up to 6 students, making 24 spots available for 2026.
Weekly classroom sessions will bring all of the participants together and tighten our community.
Members will have access to online learning videos, forum membership to ask us and other members questions.
This program will run over the course of 4 weeks, comprising of:
Four weekend sessions at Smith Rock
Four classroom sessions at our office in the Mountain Shop.
Skills covered in this course will be:
How to lead sport climbs
Building and cleaning robust sport climbing anchors
Multi-Pitch Climbing Basics
Rock Rescue
The partner component of this course is Level II: Intermediate Alpine Climbing, which can be taken in sequence or parallel.

Field Sessions - Cohort A - Saturdays: 7/11, 7/18 7/25, 8/1
